FIVE IMPORTANT reasons to give   1) To protect land, streams, rivers, and lakes      that, otherwise, will be developed and lost      forever as natural areas. 2) To protect scenic areas everyone enjoys.      (You enjoy scenic landscapes on a hike, on      bike trip, in your boat, or traveling across the      country in a car)   3) To protect wildlife such as moose, deer, bear,      fish, osprey, eagles, and waterfowl.  The loss      or destruction of their  natural habitat by land      development  is the number 1 reason the      wildlife are lost or die out.   4) For your children and grandchildren.  If we do      not protect scenic natural areas now, they will      be gone for good.  One developed, the areas      can not be restored to a truly natural  pristine      state -- it is not scientifically feasible,      financially feasible or practical. 5) To assist farmers, ranchers and timberland      owners. We help them conserve working      lands and access financial incentives.
